A Request For ALL Schools Across This Great Country

Heartland Heroes Project Inc. would like to ask the schools to lend us a hand if they could. What we would like to do is have the students write a letter or color a picture to be sent in our care packages. We would enclose these in our packages that we send to our troops. This is an ongoing campaign that runs all year and it would be 'extra nice' to receive a little something extra in their care packages. This can be done on a volunteer basis. All we ask is just a letter telling the troops thank you and letting them know we are thinking of them and that we are here to support them. Many of the men and women of the armed forces have answered the call and left their families and friends behind and this would let them know we appreciate what they are doing and we are thinking about them. It is not about if you support the war or not, this is about supporting our soldiers that are over there. If the students want to send something with it like a picture that is fine. All we ask is that they write their first name and age and what grade they are in on the letter or colored picture. They do not have to give any of their personal information. The soldiers can post it on their bulletin boards and let all the soldiers of that area read it. We ship them to Iraq, Afghanistan and Kuwait. If anyone else at the school such as a teacher or volunteer that would like to send a letter, we will enclose it in our packages. Any help would be appreciated. Any and all schools across this Great Country are asked to help.

Please package them in a manila envelope and mail them to us at the address below. Please include the school's name and or teachers so we can post it on our "Special Thanks" page.

The Yard Sale Was A Success! Thank You!

Heartland Heroes Project Inc. wants to give a heartfelt thanks to everyone that donated items and came to the huge yard sale! We were absolutely amazed at the overwhelming amount of support we have received. The yard sale was so successful that we have planned another one in the spring. We are accepting donations of items for the yard sale now through spring for the next yard sale. If you have any items you would like to donate to Heartland Heroes, you can drop them off at the address listed below.
